    My mom probably wouldn’t have liked the social networks. Her quote was, “Fools’ names and fools’ faces always appear in public places.’ A Roosevelt supporter, she probably wouldn’t have liked the politicians of today either.

      I love that one!!!! I was trying to find out who originally said “God takes care of fools and little children,” and I discovered that it’s usually quoted “God takes care of drunks, fools and little children.” Grandmama Eunice did her own editing. She had a coffee mug that said, “Lips that touch liquor will never touch mine!”
