Wordless Wednesday — Time to Grow

Thoughts on growing from three wise men who always maintained a connection to childhood:

I’m youth, I’m joy, I’m a little bird  that has broken out of the egg.
James M. Barrie

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.

C. S. Lewis

Being born in a duck yard does not matter, if only you are hatched from a swan’s egg.
Hans Christian Andersen

I hope you grow today.

On your theme, my Papaw always says, “If you want to make something happen, you’ve got to crack a few eggs first!” haha

My husband used to fish at a lake in Florida — Orange Lake. Sadly it’s gone now because of the invasion of hydrilla. During his fishing years there, different people took over the camp and the equipment, etc. Once it was two brothers. One dreamed of a tall tower that they could build so people could look out over the beautiful lake. His brother came along and said, “I think we need to swab out the boats first.” So that’s our ‘crack a few eggs.”
